MARS

WATER
Eksploration of Mars's territory thanks to all missions has brought many discoveries. First geological tests sugested that Mars once had large amounts of surface waters. In 2005 radar scans showed presence of ice in the regions of the poles and in the mean latitudes. On the 31st July 2008 during the Phoenix lander mission the presence of water was declared in sample of soil from the pole region.

The final issue regarding the presence of water on Mars (in liquid form) was affirmed on the 28th September 2015 by NASA. Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter gathered undisputed evidence: the soil in the tested region was saturated with compounds of water, salts and calcium perchlorate.
